Spinning Wheel Spinning

16, 23, 30 Sept & 7 Oct • all levels • $70

From fleece to a multi-plied yarn. Picking and carding the fleece; spinning a single-ply wool yarn; then plying, washing, and setting. Tuition includes the use of handcards and of a spinning wheel.

KNIT A SAMPLER SCARF

2-part class • 6 hours total
28 Sept & 5 Oct • beginner •$40
For the absolute beginner. Learn a variety of basic stitches while making a scarf. Class will also cover casting on and binding off. We will talk about yarn, needles and other aspects of the craft. Size #8 needles and a skein of yarn are included in the cost of the class.

This square basket is seven inches across at the base, and four inches high. Mostly flat-reed-woven, with round reed, flat-oval reed, and seagrass accents.

 

GENERAL CLASS INFORMATION
 Class enrollment is limited. You must preregister and prepay all classes — a week ahead is best. If you withdraw three days or more before a class, you will receive a 50% refund. Later withdrawals will receive no refund. If Earth Guild cancels a class, for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
10% student discount on materials or tools or books purchased during class.
