BubbleJet Set & BubbleJet Rinse
& Pre-Treated Fabric
This product allows you to print directly on fabric with an ink jet or
a bubble jet printer. Create your own fabric sheets with your personal
computer and printer. Any electronic image, manipulated or enhanced or
not, can be printed onto cotton or silk fabric. The hand of the fabric
is un-altered.
Simply soak the fabric in Bubble Jet Set 2000 for 5 minutes, then allow
it to dry. If you hang it over a container that catches the drips, you
can re-use the solution on other pieces of fabric. Iron dry, treated fabric
to the shiny side of freezer paper. Carefully trim to a size your printer
will accept. Be very careful not to leave threads hanging to catch in
the printer's rollers. Print, and let sit for at least 30 minutes. Then
you can peel off the freezer paper and rinse your fabric. Bubble Jet Rinse
is good. Expect to get between forty and sixty 8½ by 11 sheets
from a 32 ounce bottle. It takes less to permeate thinner fabric than
thicker, and it's probably easier to get it through the printer, at least
while you're starting out. Muslin is good.
