Introduction
Jacquard Lumiere Paints
Lumiere Artist Acrylics are brilliant metallics, that work on many surfaces, including (but not limited to)
natural & synthetic fibers, leather, wood, paper, polymer clays, styrofoam. They can be screened, stamped,
stenciled, marbled, or printed. They can be used as metallic resists with silk paints, or replace metallic foils
in polymer clay mokume gane layers. Undoubtedly, they have many more applications not yet even imagined.
Their high pigmentation gives these paints excellent coverage, even on
dark fabrics (the Hi Lite colors are specially intended for use on dark
fabrics). The colors are gorgeously metallic or pearlescent, some are
even multi-colored irridescent. They brush on smoothly, and settle into
the fabric without spreading. Painted fabric becomes washable and dry
cleanable when set with a hot iron or dryer, and remains flexible and
