POLYMER CLAYS: Cernit

This German polymer clay is a little firmer than Sculpey III, a little less firm than Fimo—strong and very flexible after baking. Cernit has a good range of flesh tones, all of which are available in 500 gm bulk packs. It is more elastic to handle, better for modelling than for canework. The range of available flesh tones and its malleability make it the favorite polymer clay for dollmakers. The No. 1 Colors are regular colors, the Glamour Colors are metallic, the Neons are neon. Bake at 215°F to 270°F for 10-30 minutes.
The Cernit Starter Set includes eight 2.3 oz packs of Cernit, two tools (scraper & needle tool) and basic instructions. All 2 oz packs of Cernit mix for "6+ assorted" prices.
