POLYMER CLAYS: Fimo Soft

Fimo Soft is a totally reformulated version of the former Fimo clay (which is now called “Fimo Classic”). As its name implies, this version is much softer, requiring less kneading, and is generally easier to use. It is now suitable for children, and anybody at any skill level. And it is still very good for advanced, detailed work, including canework. Finished pieces are still very durable. Bake Fimo Soft for 30 minutes at 265°F.
Baked pieces, as long as they have not been varnished, can have unbaked clay added on, and be re-baked. The metallic powders and lacquers are unchanged. Gloss and Matt Lacquers seal and finish surfaces. Paint with the Metallic Powders for an additional shimmer. Mix-Quick, soft and neutral, blends with hard or crumbly Fimo to make kneading easier. You’re not likely to need it with the softer clay.
The Starter Set contains an assortment of eight colors of Fimo Soft, two tools (scraper & needle tool) and basic instructions.
