POLYMER CLAYS: Flexible Push MoldsThese are flexible molds, made by Polyform (makers of Sculpey and Premo). They are very easy to use; the mold peels back from the clay, thus avoiding distortion of the formed piece. Detailing is very good. Each one is 5 x 3-3/4 inches, with various shapes set into it. Press in conditioned (softened) polymer clay. Filled molds can be chilled in a refrigerator or outdoors on a cool day, to make clay removal easier. Molded pieces can be stretched, flattened, indented — altered any way you like — before baking. To avoid squishing, use Liquid Sculpey (see Sculpey III page) to attach unbaked polymer clay items to one another. Each mold includes detailed instructions and can be used with air dry and modeling clays, plaster of paris, soap and candle wax as well as with polymer clay.
