Though Harrisville calls it fleece, this fiber is not straight from the back
of the sheep. It is cleaned, carded and dyed, ready for for spinning and
for felting. This fiber is dyed in the wool to maximize brightness and fastness,
then several colors are blended to achieve a heathery effect. Harrisville
has always used Merino Cross wools from New Zealand and now has added a
much softer wool from Australia. Sold in 1/2 LB bags.
