Woven Baby Blanket Kits from Earth Guild

Make two plain-woven, 100% cotton blankets finishing at 28” by 39”. The kit contains two hand-painted warp chains, and enough solid-colored yarn to wind the rest of the warp and weave it (four half pound cones of 4/2 Dragon Tale Cotton, in three colors). You also will find handpainted rayon grosgrain ribbon to bind the raw edges of your blankets. The completed piece will be long enough to make two light-weight, sturdy and machine wash- and dry-able blankets. Painted chains are dyed with Procion-MX dyes. Kits come in four color sets, each named for its Dragon Tale weft color.
