HARRISVILLE POT-HOLDER LOOMS & LOOPERS
Hook loopers in one direction across the square frame and weave
through in the other. The woven square is finished by pulling the
end of each loop through the next—the last one forms a hanger. Traditionally,
these are pot-holders; but they can also be sewn together to make
mats or afghans. Harrisville's Loom is metal, very sturdy, and comes
with enough cotton loops to make two or six (Deluxe version) pot-holders. Loopers are available separately
(in cotton only now), made especially, so every one fits (Pot-holder
looms are pretty standard in size, so these loops should fit other
brands as well.
