YARNS: Karaoke from SWTC This yarn is 50% soy silk, 50% wool, made in China. The multi colors are "self-striping"; the color changes every 6 to 8 yards, causing the yarn to knit up in stripes. Of course, the narrower the piece, the more rows there will be between color changes. The colors in some sets are quite closely related; the color shifts are subtle rather than dramatic. Other sets are very bright. The yarn feels super soft, and felts beautifully. On 50gm (1.75 oz), 100 metre (110 yd) balls. Gauge is 4½ stitches/inch on US #7 needles.
