YARNS: New Wool From Ironstone Yarns. Hand space-dyed (except for the Black and the Ecru), 95% wool/5% polyester. 4 oz skeins hold 292 yds. A fluffy, soft, and lustrous long-staple wool, plied with a very thin strand of polyester. The resulting yarn is durable and great for felting. For knitting, it works up to 4 stitches per inch on #10 needles, using one strand. Two strands make 16 stitches in 6½ inches on #15 needles. Spun in England, dyed in Scotland.
