YARNS: Stria Cotton from Manos del Uruguay

Made by the same cooperative that produces the Manos wool. It’s a super soft, 100% Peruvian yarn, hand-dyed in large kettles to create a marbleized, slightly striated effect. No two skeins are exactly alike, and there are no dye lots, so be extra-sure to get enough the first time to complete your project. There are approximately 116 yards per 50 gm (1.75 oz) skein. Knitting gauge is 18-20 stitches/4 inches, on #4-#6 needles (3.5-4 mm).
If skeins vary more than you like, when one ends and another begins, alternate between them two rows at a time a couple of times, to give an overall blended effect.
