YARNS: Tofutsies from SWTC

This sock yarn is variegated and marled; the plies change color independently of one another. It is made from 50% superwash wool, 25% soysilk, 22.5% cotton, and, curiously, 2.5% chitin (from shrimp and crab shells, said to be naturally antibacterial). Knits 8 stitches to the inch on US 2 (2.75mm) needles. There are 425 meters per 100 gram ball, a ball will make a pair of socks. Machine wash and dry. Made in China.
